 Written surveys to all addresses in Post Code Lottery winning postcodes, six month after prize was won. For each winning postcode one or more neighboring postcodes were selected as a control group. Households were invited to participate "in scientific research on expenditure and income" without any reference to social interactions or the PCL initially. Questions about lottery participation were near the end of the survey.
