Day Reconstruction method (DRM). Respondents are asked to fill out a diary summarizing episodes, that occured in the preceding day and what they did. Afterwards they are asked to descirbe how they felt during each activity and report the intensity of their feelings.

A  happy
B  warm, friendly
C  enjoying myself
D frustrated, annoyed
E  depressed, blue
F  hassled, pushed around
G  angry, hostile
H  worried, anxious
I   criticized, put down

Rating: 0 'not at all' to 6 'very much'

Computation: (A+B+C)/3  - (D+E+F+H+H+I)/6
