Data of this study were collected before (1977), two years (1979) and four years (1981) after mental health consultation of the Louisiana Marianite Administration Team. Mental health consultation was offered because of the introdution of organizational change in 1977, viz. replacing a president and council form of administration by team governance. Consultation is assumed to lead to stronger support structures that could buffer stress.
