Reliability: Equivalence: reliability coefficient for the happiness subtest of at least .80 Validity: Each item shows a difference of at least 2.5 times the probable error of the difference between the answers of well-adjusted and maladjusted groups. These groups were selected by 3 competent judges and the individuals in them were paired for age, grade, sex and intelligence.
