SampleProbability stratified sample
 Small geographical areas were selected ad random. Sampling was stratified on urbanization, voting return, religion and so on. Size of the sample was 2345. Originally there were 1802 completed interviews, but with a large oversampling of middle-class households. These excess respondents were removed by a random process so so that weighting would not ne necessary.
