Patients were included regardless of diagnosis, unless they were admitted for elective surgery, were discharged within 48 hours of admission, had the acquired immunnodeficiency syndrom(AIDS), or had multiple trauma.
The current analysis included patients who were alive 2 months after discharge. intervieweble by phone, and cognitively intact. |
