Operationalization
Discrepancy between recalled goals in early adulthood and current satisfaction in goal fields.
Participants were asked to rate the importance of their life-goals in the plans they made in early adulthood for: 'occupational succes', 'family life' and 'joy in living'. They were also asked to rate their current (age 61) satisfaction in these domains. Next scores were subtracted.
