- Life Satisfaction Index-Z, variant of Life Satisfaction Index A; originally developed by Neugarten et al.(1961) (LSIA), later simplified by Wood et al.(1969) The following items were deleted from the LSIA list: C. My life could be happier than it is now. I. Compared to other people my age, I make a good appearance. K. I expect some interesting and pleasant things to happen to me in the future. L. I feel old and somewhat tired. N. I would not change my past life even if I could. S. Compared to other people my age, I've made a lot of foolish decisions in my life. T. I feel my age, but it does not bother me.
