Operationalization
Subject was instructed: write the words "United States" as slowly as you can. Don't dot your i or cross your t's. Do not lift pencil from paper. During the subject's perfomance he was told "slower" or similar phrases. The score was the time in seconds to complete with a maximum of 5 minutes.
