8 locations with different degrees of connectedness to the capital city Dhaka: 4 locations in a district far from Dhaka, and 4 locations closer to Dhaka. In each district 2 urban and 2 rural sites were chosen. Of the 2  rural sites one was further from the urban site than the other:
