Operationalization
Students were randomly assigned to a treatment and control group. Both groups were told that they engaged in activities to promote their wellbeing and participated 4 weeks.

1: TREATMENT: Participants were invited to choose a value from a list of 15 (e.g. independence, music/art, honesty, relationships with family/friends), to write about why the value is important to them, incl, personal expperiences demonstrating its significance. After the 1 st week participants were told they would continue to focus on their most important values, and that, if they chose to write about their activities from the previous day. To try to focus on different aspects of that value.
0: CONTROLS: Controls were instructed to write about their activities from the previous day - a "positive exercise" ostensibly designed to improve their organizational skills.
